Area: Yate area
Issue: Burst main repair
Estimated completion: 08/07/2020
We are aware of some customers in the Yate area are experiencing no water, poor pressure or discolouration. We believe this is the result of a burst water main repair on Gravel Road/Peg Hill. A crew has been digging onto the main today, which has proven to be a lot more difficult than envisaged. The crew have isolated the main and are now carrying out the repair, we hope the water should be restored to the area within the next couple of hours.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.
Main is now repaired and being recharged, the water supply should start to return for the customers affected.
If you have any discoloured water once the water supply is restored, please run the cold kitchen tap for a few minutes until it clears.
