As Street Works Coordinator, you will provide support to our Planning and Scheduling Team who plan all our work out in the field, ensuring all permits and notices are in place for them to complete the work needed. Day to day you will.. Co-ordination of all street works within Bristol Water Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, including Local Authorities and delivery Partners Responsible for opening, managing and closing Street Works Notices through ETON Noticing System Responsible for assisting with the management and administration of Street Works Notices issued by developers Aid in transitioning the company from street works noticing to permitting. Ensure compliance with current legislation Respond to complaints from council officers, works promoters and other stakeholders Ensure Health and Safety requirements are at the forefront of everything we do What we are looking for … This role is a fast moving and often reactive role so you will need to be someone who is happy working in that ‘grey area’ and thrives on getting things done! In addition, you will need: The ability to analyse information quickly The ability to manage under pressure on reactive operations Excellent Communication skills ( written and verbal) Experience in computer programmes, e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word. Are you able to stay calm, organised and able to think under pressure? Bristol Water has a great opportunity for you to come and join our Team! What will you be doing? Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling work for our teams in the field. Day to day you will… Schedule works to support the dig team ensuring the backfill; reinstatement and site clear are all completed and aligned to street works and customer requirements. Monitor the use of FFA through the team, managing information provided Update all operational lines in SAP Close all associated jobs on completion or arrange further visits through Network Schedulers where required. Work closely with the Street Works Co-ordination Team to manage works durations and mitigate risk Update the corporate system with all completed activity undertaken What we are looking for … We need an all-rounder. One minute you could be on the phone, the next in one of our many systems scheduling the work, so you need to be someone who likes the interaction but also able to block out the noise and concentrate when needed! In addition, you will need: Experience in a planning / scheduling, customer service or administrative background Excellent Communication skills ( written and verbal) Experience in computer programmes, e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
