Bill support in place as furlough scheme ends

Bristol Water have launched a help scheme for water bills if you’ve been affected by the COVID-19 furlough scheme drawing to an end.


If you have found yourself in debt for the first time since March 2020 as a result of COVID, your water bill could be reduced to a special low-rate tariff that is manageable for you. 


Sue Clarke, Head of Customer Experience at Bristol Water, said: “No one should have to worry about affording basic bills. We understand some of our own customers might be affected by the scheme coming to an end, and we’re here to help. If you find yourself not able to afford your water bill directly as a result of COVID, we’ve a simple online form you can complete to access support from us.”
