Nearing it’s 30th year Keynsham Music Festival has grown from a small local gathering into a week long cultural celebration.
The inclusive festival operates on a ‘pay what you can’ model showcasing a diverse range of music from rock and folk to jazz, classical and even opera.
Bristol Water is sponsoring this free community event in Memorial Park, while encouraging responsible water use and environmental awareness.
The Abbey Stage, sponsored by the company, will host some of the freshest and most exciting live music across the festival weekend on 4 and 5 July.
New for the 2026 lineup is an evening of spoken word performances. Hosted in partnership with Bath Spa University, it will feature a performance from Saili Katebe, a BBC Words First finalist and previous TED Talk speaker. After guest speakers, the evening will become an open mic event, encouraging seasoned performers and newbies to share their voices with the crowd.
A wide range of stalls will bring Memorial Park to life with fantastic food, local crafts, charitable causes, family activities and plenty of surprises.
Whether you’re visiting for the music, the atmosphere, the spoken word, or simply a great day out, there is something there for everyone.
Sam Walton, Bristol Water’s Senior Customer Engagement Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting Keynsham Music Festival again this year. Their values of inclusion, accessibility and community participation is what we strive for as a business and we’re delighted to be giving a platform to young and up-and-coming artists on the Abbey Stage.”
Mike May, Keynsham Music Festival Organiser, said: "Bristol Water's support has made a genuine and lasting difference to what we are able to offer young people at this year's festival. The Youth Stage on Saturday is a platform for emerging local talent that simply would not exist without their generosity — and this year it includes something we have never done before: a live industry panel bringing together an Oasis tour manager, a grassroots singer-songwriter and a rising Bristol artist to speak honestly about the music industry to the next generation.
That kind of opportunity, in a community setting and completely free to attend, is exactly what Bristol Water's investment makes possible. We are enormously grateful."
