Key Achievements

  • Starting Summer 2020
  • To provide valuable work experience across our business
  • Places will be offered to those organisations we have partnered with throughout the last academic year

What is it?

Our work experience programme looks at providing year 10 students with invaluable experience at a real working environment. Each student will spend a day with a different Bristol Water employee, shadowing or working on a project during careers week. At the end of the week, as a wrap up, will be spent in a more group setting where a member of resourcing or HR will be involved.

Why we do it?

This is a great opportunity for our people at Bristol Water to develop their mentoring skills, as well as getting to know the people they'll be helping for the week. Helping out any of the local young people is a big part of our social purpose as a company and having the chance to show off the different roles we have to offer is always fun and exciting for us.
