What we've achieved so far...

  • Over 125 students will be involved from all over Bristol in the 2019/20 academic year
  • 9 schools involved in the project – 7 from the south Bristol area and 2 from Inner-City Bristol
  • With a range of activities from visits to our lakeside facilities to mentoring at Head Office, there’s is something for everyone

What is it?

South Bristol Youth (SBY) help young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to better understand pathways to apprenticeships, higher education and high-quality employment, specifically targeting those students from Centre/ South Bristol or from a BAME background to ensure equality of opportunity for all.

Why we do it?

Working with nine selected schools in our area, we're going to work with South Bristol Youth by providing mentors who will be able to recall and retell personal stories of their own development, give tours of various facilities and act as a mentor for the day.
