A fund-raising book with a difference was launched by TV/radio presenter Richard Wyatt, who wrote a special endorsement of the publication
Basil's School Antics is all about Basil, a Birman cat who 'attends' St Lawrence's Primary School, at Westbury-sub-Mendip in rural Somerset.
The book, written by the school's Clare Blackmore, is all about what Basil gets up to during the school year. ( Some excerpts are attached).
Basil's antics are regularly featured in the school's nerwsletter -- now they have been brought together, charmingly illustrated, in this special book, whose publication has been supported by Bristol Water.
All proceeds from the sale of the book, through mail order and from the school, will be shared 50/50 between the school and the WaterAid charity.
