Robert comes with a wealth of experience of the water industry and a passion to ensure Bristol Water achieves the best possible outcome from PR19.
He has worked in the water industry for over 30 years, and for a large part of this time, he was with Thames Water. He joined as a graduate civil engineer and gradually progressed to more senior roles within Engineering, Operations, Asset Management and Regulation.
He was Director of Asset Management including R&D for several years, accountable for expenditure of over £650m/pa and projects such as the London Water Ring Main and major trunk mains to improve the resilience of the water-stressed areas of the Thames region.
He was also the Director responsible for the Public Inquiry for a large desalination plant.
More recently, he was Price Review Director for Thames and then as an independent consultant helped other water companies with their preparations for PR14 and their asset management capability.
