How much do you charge for fishing?
Do I need a permit to fish at your reservoirs and lakes?
You need a fishing permit to fish at Chew Valley Lake, Blagdon Lake, Litton Lakes and Barrow Reservoirs, our fishing permits are available from Woodford Lodge, Chew Valley Lake or at various self-service kiosks. We have a number of different bank and boat permits available. For more information please visit our fisheries website.
The fishing at Cheddar is leased to the Cheddar Angling Club who also fish at the clay pits situated below the reservoir. If you wish to fish at Cheddar Reservoir, please visit Cheddar Angling Club for details.
Can my school visit Blagdon Visitor Centre?
Due to engineering works at our Blagdon site, we are not currently able to open Blagdon Visitor Centre for school visits.
Can I visit your reservoirs?
Chew Valley Lake is our reservoir that has the most facilities for public visitors. Find out more about a day out at Chew Valley Lake.
Our reservoirs are open for specific activities, such as sailing, fishing and birdwatching. Find out more about our leisure activities.
All our reservoirs are on private property, so not all the grounds around our reservoirs and lakes are open to the public.

Yes you can. The fishing at Cheddar is leased to the Cheddar Angling Club who also fish at the clay pits situated below the reservoir. These are owned by the company.
