All water companies in England and Wales have a contingency plan for coping with drought. A summary of our current plan is set out below.

In 2005, we consulted with a wide range of stakeholders to review and update our plans for coping with drought. The draft version of our revised plan has been available for public consultation on this site since May 2006.

We have had comments and representations from a number of stakeholders regarding our revised plan. These, together with our explanation of how we have taken these comments into account in the final plan are set out below:
