Estimating the amount of water you use will
help you decide whether having a meter
installed will save you money. Using the
following table:
1. Decide whether your household is a high,
medium or low user of water.
2. Select the number of people living in your
house in the left hand column
3. Move across the table to find the
approximate amount of water you use per year in cubic metres.
4. Take this figure and look up your estimated water usage in the table on
page
5. You will find your estimated charges for both water and sewerage
services – if this figure is lower than your current charges, it is likely that
a water meter will save you money.
