Peace of mind for you - protection for your home
With a Plumbing and Drainage policy, help is only a phone call away, day or night, 365 days a year. In an emergency, a qualified, approved plumber will be sent to you normally within two hours, if not sooner.
Unlike many other policies, your water supply pipe is covered from the junction with Bristol Water’s external stop tap to the point of entry into your house. Any problem on your supply pipe could be very costly to repair especially if you have to locate the problem and then excavate and repair it. Specialist equipment is usually needed for this type of problem.
In addition, the policy will cover costs that are not usually included in a home contents or buildings insurance, including call out charges, parts and labour for up to £2,000 per incident (incl. VAT) for external drainage emergencies, up to £2,000 per incident (incl. VAT) for underground water supply pipe emergencies and up to £1,000 per incident (incl. VAT) for internal plumbing emergencies.
