Bristol Water recognises that home builders and developers are vital to the growth and regeneration of our area, and is committed to providing an efficient and cost effective service to you. This section explains how to find out where our existing apparatus is located and whether or not it has sufficient capacity to supply your development. It also details how to apply for new mains or enquire about mains diversions.

We know that each development is unique, and it is for this reason that we would ask you to contact us as early as possible with details of your proposals so that we can identify your needs and ensure that they are met efficiently and on time. While we appreciate that all of the specifications for a development may not be known during the early planning stages we do require a certain minimum level of information on which to base our investigations and designs. Precise details of what is required at each stage in the design process is given on the page relevant to that stage. If you fill in an application for information online you will be prompted for all of the relevant information to make sure you do not miss anything.

If your proposals change at any time from that submitted to us, whether before or after mainlaying has been carried out, please forward us details to enable us to update our proposals and GIS record of the site.
