Consumer Council for Water

The Consumer Council for Water - Wessex (CCWater Wessex) represents water and sewerage consumers in the Wessex region.
CCWater is independent of both the water industry and the regulator, Ofwat.

The Wessex region covers customers of:

• Wessex Water
• Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water
• Bristol Water
• Cholderton & District Water
• Thames Water

How they help consumers:

• They provide information about water and sewerage services at home or in your business;
• They campaign to help you get value for money and a better standard of service from water companies;
• They can help if you have a complaint about your water company (they request that you contact us first);
• They try to make sure that all consumers get a good-quality responsive service.

The Consumer Council for Water (Wessex) represents the interests of over 2 million water consumers in the Wessex region.

CC Water operates through a regional committee made up of a Chairman with nine committee members. The committee represents a cross-section of water consumers across the region. They represent the interests of consumers in respect of price, service and value for money.
