Due to proactive management throughout the summer and heavy rainfall in December, our water storage levels are excellent for this time of year. Our total reservoir storage is currently at 88% compared to 78% this time last year.
‘Although we do not currently predict any usage restrictions for customers, we will continue to monitor our water levels and, as always, we would like to encourage our customers to save water if possible,’ says Head of Water Resource & Environment Patric Bulmer.
We continuously monitor our water levels in our reservoirs and groundwater sources, and meticulously plan to make sure there is enough water to meet the demand of our customers.
